Education in the United States, “Everyone’s Dream”
Education in the United States of America is one of the biggest and most reputed education systems in the world. Students from all over the world come to the United States because of the high quality of education imparted there. “A record number of international students — nearly 820,000 — came to U.S. colleges in the 2012/2013 school year, says the Institute of International Education” (Chappell). Education in the United States offers students with lot of choices and gives all the students time to explore their interest unlike other countries.
What is the difference between education in United States and other countries? Education in America offers almost double the amount of courses. It gives students with a lot more choices and opportunities to pursue their higher education. For example colleges in Nepal does not offer as many courses as colleges in America. If students take computer science as their major, then they will only have to study their core courses. As a result they won’t be able to study other elective subjects like English, History, and many more. Because of this they won’t be able to explore different subjects and will be stuck in that particular course for rest of their higher studies.
