After the implausible develop of technology, social medias such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn plays indispensable roles of our lives. In fact, there are three billion of Internets users in the world, which takes more than 45 percent of total population. Among the heavy Internet users, nearly 2.1 billion of people have some type of social media accounts in their smartphone or tablet. Social media is crucial to our society because Sally Kohn from TED talk “Don’t like clickbait? Don’t click”, demonstrate that clicking is no longer a private act, it is a public act that more of what we click and see often gets attention shapes our culture and society. Therefore, the social media aspects could be positive and negative influence in our lives.
Nowadays, people can spread the information faster than any other medias. More than half of people choose to learn about news on social media instead of newspaper or radio. For instance, the charity KONY 2012 was at first spread on social medial. Unarguably, their campaign would have not been successful without social media. People could easily shared the video on Facebook and e-mail, retweet the tweet and shared the opinions spread the subject of the matter easily. Moreover, social medical can be useful to solve crimes more quickly.
