For initiating the charity fund raising event, a time period of 3 months was chosen from the approval date in order to accomplish the process of budgeting, organising event dates, selecting the venue and reserving the venue, coordinating parking and transport, developing a valuable theme to attract people, decoration of sites, supply of necessary resources to accomplish the task, catering and toilet facilities, security and support facilities required for the event (Allen, 2008).
Considering the time period of three months to organise the event and raise funds, The team has considered to propose a "Wolf run event", a 10 km off road running event that features numerous natural and manmade obstacles throughout the running course against the fierce atmospheric conditions, aiming to be organised during spring time. The main concept why wolf run was chosen as the suitable event for raising charity was to encourage people by recreating the active life feeling of running in natural terrain (Appenzeller and Lewis, 2000). By initiating this wild run, people would be able to experience flow of raw running against natural landscapes in wide range of varying textures like mud, water, sand etc, making it interesting, challenging and an overall enjoyable event (Greenfield, 2001).
