Advertisements are created to sell company`s products. Good advertisements influence customer that they are receiving a deal on what is being advertised. The best advertisements are often honest about the product being sold. For example, if the company is overstocked they will explain why the price of the product is decreased. Advertisements help companies sell their products. On the other hand, Coca Cola uses logics in the ad titled For a Better Start in Life to explain how coke can lead babies to a healthy life ahead of them. The Coca Cola Company does masses of advertising to get their products launched. An ad from the early 1900s claims that coke can aid in babies growing up to have a decent life. For a better start in Life is the title of the advertisement. The ad displays a baby and a woman who seems to be the child mother. The mother is holding the baby while the baby are giving her a friendly smile. The mother and the baby are well groomed and seems to be enjoying life since they drink coke. This advertisement is to influence the viewer that their life will be excellent if they began to drink coke too. “Not soon enough, laboratory tests over the last few years have proven that babies who start drinking soda during the early formative period have a much higher chance of gaining acceptance and “fitting in” during those awkward pre-teen and teen years.
