The design of this report is to show the is to show the written report of an earthquake occurring either on the San Andreas Fault Line or the Hayward Fault Line. Designing bridges and seeing if the bridge that was built to survive an earthquake with the magnitude of 5.0-8.0 for Hayward and for San Andreas 5.0-9.0 the power of these earthquakes have the power to destroy lots of things at once.

Some earthquakes are not noticeable but it 's the fact that earthquakes are so powerful that it can go through anything its amount of power is incredible this shows the power level of the earthquake can go though as shown soft mud is very vulnerable toward the shockwaves that the natural disaster creates. BedRock as shown it 's not very effective toward the earthquake this is because BedRock is really hard and it won 't be strong enough to move. Therefore what it can do it break through the holes of the bedrock and effect the other things like sand and gravel to the soft mud.

Problem
The problem was how can you make an Earthquake proof bridge strong to withstand an 8.0 earthquake. The designs of this bridge are comprised of 4 prototype bridges which are following the designs of a cable/stay bridge along with the beam girders and suspension bridges. The first section as well as the rest of the sections were made of cable/stay sections. Fitted with every safety feature such as shock absorbers, shear links, bearings and ductile material.

So the bridge that was build here shows…
